Irish step dancing consists of two main forms, soft shoe Dance and hard shoe Dance. There are four levels: Beginners, Primary, Intermediate, and finally Open Championship level.
Beginners start learning the basic steps needed to perform the Reel, Light Jig, Slip Jig and Single Jig in soft shoe.
Having mastered these dances with good technique and posture, dancers then to progress to learning the exciting rhythms of our hard show repertoire
